Today, with 13 affiliated youth organizations under the Tuvalu National Youth Council (TNYC), one of its main task was to revived as the paramount coordinating mechanism for all the youth work in the Non-Governmental sector in Tuvalu. It is mandated to work in collaboration with the Government youth department within the Ministry of Home Affairs & Rural Development.

Poor communication due to the isolation of each island in Tuvalu, so young people are not always aware of services available to them. Not strong spirit of cooperation between youth groups, community organization and government institutions in the development and implementation of youth activities. Financial constraints which contribute to the factor that denied our youth from attending regional and international events and gathering.
